Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy When you reserve a date with A-Que Lister's Smokehouse BBQ & Catering, we immediately begin planning your event. We often decline other inquiries for the same date and commit staff, equipment, inventory, and production time specifically for your event. For this reason, the following cancellation policy applies. Deposits All deposits are non-refundable. Your deposit reserves your event date and covers planning, scheduling, and administrative costs. Cancellations More than 60 days before the event The deposit is forfeited. Any additional payments made beyond the deposit will be refunded, less any documented expenses already incurred. 31–60 days before the event The deposit is forfeited, and the client is responsible for any non-recoverable expenses already incurred, including rentals, specialty food orders, staffing commitments, permits, and custom items. 15–30 days before the event The deposit is forfeited, plus 50% of the remaining contract balance becomes due. 14 days or less before the event The full contracted balance is due and non-refundable. Lost Business Opportunities By reserving your event date, A-Que Lister's Smokehouse BBQ & Catering may decline other catering opportunities. If a cancellation occurs within 30 days of the event and we are unable to rebook the date, the applicable cancellation charges above will apply. Rescheduling One date change may be permitted, subject to availability, if requested at least 30 days before the event. Deposits may be transferred to the new date within 12 months. Additional date changes may require a new deposit. Force Majeure If circumstances beyond either party's control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, or other unforeseen emergencies, prevent the event from taking place, both parties will work together in good faith to reschedule whenever possible.
