What are A-Que Listers Catering food service hours and length? |
Hey service time of 1 to 2 hours is typically planned. A-Que Listers Will be present at an event for a total of 3 to 4 hours (set up, service, and clean up).

How far does Travel? Travel Fee? |
A-Que Listers proudly services Houston and surrounding areas With free delivery within 30 miles from downtown Houston. Events 30 to 50 miles distance will be charged a $50 mileage fee.

Do I need to provide a permit for A-Que Listers to cater my event? |
No. As long as the event is held on private property and off-street parking for the truck is provided. A-Que Listers Typically acquires the permits needed for public events.

What does A-Que Listers need the day of the event to operate? |
Access and parking must allow for clearance of the following dimensions 20 FT Long (42 FT Long with the truck) X 14 FT WIDE X 15 FT TALL. Clients must verify that we are allowed to park at the event location site. The truck cannot park on a street. A-Que Listers is self-contained And we'll plan on running our generator for power but we may also request and electrical connection (120V connection) as a backup. While we always use extreme care. A-Que Listers Is not responsible for damage are stains to pavement or landscaping caused by the food truck entering or exciting the parking space or the use of it's equipment.

When is the total amount due? |
The deposit is due upon return of the signed contract. The balance, based on your guaranteed minimum count, is do 3 days prior to event. Any additional amounts due (for extra people ,for example) are do by cash or credit card prior to completion of service on the day of the event.

What is the Event Cancellation Policy? |
The 25% deposit is non-refundable. If the truck is cancelled at least 10 days prior to service, no additional fees are due. If the truck is cancelled within 10 days of the service date the entire contracted minimum is due. A-Que Listers operates rain or shine.

So, what happens if the weather is bad? |
A-Que Listers operates rain or shine, so if you haven't rented a tent you may want to consider doing so a tent is party insurance. If the weather dictates that indoor, sheltered, or artificially-lit buffet accommodations are necessary, it is up to the client to provide them. We will be happy to set the buffet in your home A-Que Listers will not set up hey cater buffet in inhospitable conditions and reserves the right to provide drop off service (at no discount) if other satisfactory arrangements cannot be made.

What methods of payments do you take? |
We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover, PayPal, cash app, Venmo or Zelle.

What, exactly is A-Que Listers private catering/booking/deposit/payment process? |
We start with a catering inquiry. You can give us a call and we’ll do it over the phone. This will give us some basic information about your event. If they event date, time, and location etc. Work for us we will get back to you to firm up details.
To secure catering for your event you will me too sign a catering contract (we use email as the binding agreement) and pay a 25% non-refundable deposit. The finalize menu and guaranteed minimum must be provided at least 14 days in advance of the event date, or when signing the contract for events booked less than 10 days in advance. Payment of all remaining balances are due no later than 3 days from the event. Any additional amounts due (for extra guests, for example) are due prior to completion of service on the day of the event. Menus, rates, rules, minimums and availability are subject to change. |
Can A-Que Listers accept special menu requests? |
Of course! Our catering menus can be just a starting place. We would be happy to customize any of them (or start from scratch) to meet your special needs and desires.

When do I need to pick my menu? |
Menus needs to be finalized at least 14 days in advance of the service date or with the signed contract, whichever is closer to the event.

Can the truck serve my own food? |
No. Due to safety and sanitation regulations, the only food that can be served from the food truck is food prepared by us.

Do we need to supply our own trash cans, plates, utensils and napkins? |
*No* A-Que Listers provides paper plates/food containers, napkins, and plastic utensils. We can also serve using client-provided plates/utensils etc.
A-Que Listers does not supply tables or seating for guests.*This answer does not apply to “drop-off” catering service where A-Que Listers supplies ONLY the food is disposable containers. |
Does A-Que Listers require a minimum guarantee for catering? |
Yes. Catered events carry a 60-person/$850 minimum (whichever is greater). If you contract for 60 people and 40 people eat, you will get charged for 60 people. If 65 people eat you will get charged for 65 people. A-Que Listers will generally prepare enough food for 5% more people than the final guarantee.

How do I decide on my guaranteed minimum count? |
Guests are counted as they go through the buffet line. We will not deny guests a second service unless instructed So by the client. If you know where there will be 60 guests attending your event, and expect that they will each go through the buffet line only once comma then your guarantee should be 60. We will prepare enough food for 5% over the final guaranteed number of guests. It may be a good idea to increase your account by a few guests if you anticipate last minute additional guests or guests wanting seconds.

Is a deposit required? |
Yes. We require a 25% non-refundable deposit upon signing the contract to secure the food truck or catering to book the agreed upon date.
